What the inspection covers
- Shingle condition, granule loss, cracks, creases and hail bruising.
- Ridge, hips and valleys, where most leaks start.
- Flashing at walls, dormers, skylights and the chimney.
- Pipe boots, vents and exhaust caps.
- Gutters, drip edge and fascia along the eaves.
- Soft or sagging decking, and signs of water in the attic when we can get in.
Why we photograph every slope
We check every slope, including the steep and second-storey ones, and photograph what we find, so you can see what we see. Where it is safe, we get up on the roof to check the details by hand.

The written report
You get photos of what we found and a plain-English explanation: what is fine, what needs watching and what needs work now. If there is storm damage, the photos are dated and ready for an insurance claim.
No pressure, ever
The inspection is free whether you hire us or not. If your roof is in good shape, we say so. If it needs a repair or a full replacement, you get a written price and time to think about it.
When to book one
After any hail or high-wind storm. Before buying or selling a home. When the roof is 15 years old or more. Or any time you see a stain, a missing shingle or granules piling up in the gutters.
