When a roof needs replacing, not patching
Shingles do not last forever in North Georgia. Summer heat bakes them, storms knock granules loose and pine needles hold moisture in the valleys. A repair buys time. A replacement resets the clock.
It is usually time when you see bare spots where the granules have gone, curling or cracked shingles across a whole slope, leaks in more than one place, or soft spots underfoot. Our free roof inspection tells you plainly whether you need a new roof or just a repair.
What a Dryco replacement includes
- Full tear-off down to the deck, never a layover on top of old shingles.
- Decking checked board by board. Soft or rotted wood gets replaced.
- Synthetic underlayment, with ice-and-water shield in valleys and around penetrations.
- New drip edge, flashing, pipe boots and ridge vent as the roof calls for.
- Architectural shingles from GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed or IKO, in the colour you pick.
- Beds and shrubs tarped, the yard magnet-swept for nails, and an owner's final walk.

Shingle or metal
Most of our replacements are architectural shingle roofs. We also install standing-seam metal, like the white home with the dark metal roof in our gallery. We walk you through what each costs to own, how it looks on your house, and what it means for your warranty.
Paying cash or through insurance
If your roof is simply worn out, you get a fixed written price before any work starts, with no surprise change orders. If storm damage is part of the story, a replacement may be covered. We document it, file with you, and meet the adjuster on the roof. See how roof insurance claims work.
Build day, start to finish
The crew arrives early, protects the landscaping and tears off one section at a time so your home is never left open to the weather. New underlayment and shingles go on the same day on most homes. Before we leave, we clean up, sweep the yard and driveway with magnets and walk the roof with you.
